Beastieboys.com has a new look today. The redesigned site features a video clip with an audio sample from the Beastie Boys' new album The Mix-Up. It appears the band will be posting a video clip with an audio sample each day. The first audio sample is from the song "The Rat Cage."
Also new on the site is an additional tour date: July 15, the Lake Festival in Hungary (ticket information to be announced later).

as of right now, when you type in "beastieboys.com/bbs" which usually leads to the messageboards, it automatically goes to the main page instead of saying "we'll be right back." so could this mean they are going to be back soon? ;)

the mb is down because the admins are more concerned with furthering themselves & their web business than doing anything for the fan community
yeah I find it ironic that when we FINALLY have something to talk about there is no message board
the mods get a lot of heat. people go on about change and wanting to see something new and when it finally happens they just complain. i mean there's a new song clip as requested and the site/messageboard is clearly being changed up now. i'm sure if they coulda kept up the messageboard, changed it etc without taking it down they would have.
but in the meantime fans get a glimpse of what to look forward to and can still get news from here... it seems everything is serving it's purpose, so just fucking wait!!
