He loves New York

"My inner child just wants pizza. My inner child is down at the deli trying to get someone to buy me beer."

Adam Horovitz gets asked some really dumb questions in an interview with Gothamist.

I could hardly follow the interview. The person who interviewed him doesn't know much about the Beastie Boys.

that interview doesn't make sense

This is by far one of the stupidest interviews ever conducted by a human being. Horovitz manages to power thru it despite his time being wasted.

That's exactly what I thought, Spiffy. It seems like the interviewer read Wikipedia in preparation for the interview. The questions are lame. The band's publicist needs to scrutinize media requests more carefully. I haven't seen ONE GOOD PIECE on the Beastie Boys in any publication since the release of "The Mix-Up." The band should be doing interviews with worthwhile publications like GQ (currently the best-written magazine IMO) and Details. The angle can be the dressing to impress stuff.

Adam H is a lot more interesting than the interview portrays him to be.

Mic to Mic should conduct an interview with the Beastie Boys. :)

Thanks, but honestly I wouldn't want to interview them. I'm much more interested in talking with fans and hearing opinions about the band's work. Hearing artists talk about their own work can be dull. They can sound too serious, pompous, or just plain stupid.

What a waste! The Beasties should do an interview on the message board. We would ask good questions.

If Hot Sauce doesn't want to talk to Adam I can :P
