Yeah, pop. Don't you know they're a pop band now? ;P

I think they have a very good chance of winning in both categories.

if they win that's good, but it's not that big of a deal. I mean, the Grammy's are whack. Every time Foo Fighters drop a new album they get like a gazillion of nominations. Haven't they done the same album for ten years?

From a fan perspective, the Grammys are dumb and irrelevant. But to recording artists, the award still means something. It's about respect and appreciation from the music-making community.

Pop?

I have two questions for Yauch, Mike + Adam -

A] Will you be travelling to LA to attend?

B] If the answer to A is 'Yes', can I come hang out with you guys?

I'll have to check and see if those categories are among the awards distributed during the televised ceremony. The Recording Academy has scaled back the show so much in recent years that very few awards are distributed during the broadcast. The two categories Beastie Boys are nominated in may not be part of the broadcast show. If so, there would be no reason for them to appear in person...unless they wanted to attend.
