NME gives scoop on new Beastie Boys album

In NME's preview of new albums in 2009, the Beastie Boys are featured with great news for the fans if it is true:
Believe it or not, what looks likely to be called 'Tadlock's Glasses' will be Beastie Boys' eight studio album. Recorded in their own New York studio and using samples plucked from shops the world over, it sees them ditch politics and going back to their party-starting roots. Expect steel drums, a collaboration with Santogold and a huge world tour in 2009. Release date: Expected late Spring 2009.

A huge world (please come to The Netherlands!!) party-tour sounds good. Although I don't mind to hear their political statements... Anyway, I don't think I'm not going to like it, whatever the albums sounds like.

Hard to say if this is true. Reporters often interpret the Beastie Boys literally when they are just bullshitting them.
