U.S. 'Make Some Noise' Record Store Day single to benefit Japan Relief Fund

Recordstoreday.com has confirmed that the "Make Some Noise/Make Some Noise (Passion Pit Remix)" vinyl single for Record Store Day will NOT be available in record shops in the United States. Because Beastie Boys don't want to disappoint their American fans, they've partnered with the U.S. Record Store Day people to sell a limited number of the records online on April 16. The sale of the records will go to benefit the American Red Cross Japan Relief Fund.

Restrictions apply: You may order only one record, and the shipping address must be within the United States. Watch Recordstoreday.com for ordering details.

Great news! Thanks to the Beastie Boys for making it happen. I will be happy to have the record and give to Japan relief at the same time.

Cool! I might stand a chance of getting the record. The thing on the cover is a dog cross-bred with Yauch's beard.
