Beastie Boys to perform 45-minute set at ASPCA benefit

I confirmed with an organizer of the ASPCA benefit show that the Beastie Boys set will be 45 minutes long. The organizer also shared that the band will be doing publicity for the show this week.

DJ Tony Buzzcock and Karmen Guy of Mad Juana will spin records between acts while video tributes to local rescues are projected on the big screen.

WHAT: An annual concert and tribute to NYC animal rescue and no-kill city shelters by 2010. A charity event to benefit local rescue groups and the campaign for NYC's homeless animals.
