yauch is going to be ok, he'll be rapping in his 90's.

Thanks for pointing out Yauch is THE man! I got my rosaries out and my voodoo doll of him, and I am gonna do some crazyass prayer-magic for him. There's so many of us thinking about him today, he is gonna magically float above the hospital cutting table and freak out the doctors.
^Hahaha! I hope they put a big X on where to cut. It would be a shame if he came out of surgery with a missing hand. Being a one handed bass player might be hard. ;)

It sucks about MCA. I hope they caught it early enough and he'll be ok. I hope Adrock & Mike are ok too. Yauch is like a brother. It must be tough for them.
My heart dropped when I heard about Adam Yauch. I have faith he will recover fully because he has a strong support system and can afford the best medical care.

I hated cancer before I found out about Adam Yauch's announcement. I hate it even more now.
When my friends are feeling sick or low I give them a big hug. It helps most of the time. Adam Yauch - I am sending out a gigantic virtual hug to YOU!! I can't wait to hear the new album and see you on the stage again.

I hope he's going to be OK. I can't imagine the music world without Beastie Boys doing their thing. Beastie Boys music has helped me through some hard times. I wish I could do something to help Yauch through his hard time.

my uncle had the same kind of cancer. he did radiation treatment for a few months. he was run down & sick for six months but he did get better. i played a lot of cards with my uncle during his treatment. i'm available to play mahjong with mca if needs me.
Any word on how he's doing?
I know everyone is concerned and curious about Yauch, but we need to step back and not ask any questions. He already shared more with us than most people would tell their friends. Let's give him privacy and time to get healthy again. When and if he wants us to know anything more, he will tell us.
