Hard Rock Cafe has organized an exhibit honoring some of the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Code Breakers of Rock and Roll features memorabilia of Beastie Boys, Guns N' Roses, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and spotlights the career of music journalist Jane Scott. The exhibit, which is located at The City Room, a temporary exhibition space between the Cleveland Ritz Hotel and Hard Rock Cafe, opens Friday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public through April 16.
A friend was invited to a sneak peek of the exhibit last night and snapped the following photos for us:

I dare someone to steal that VW emblem.
Hard Rock Cafe? Do people go there anymore? Cool Beasties stuff though.
All of it would look great on the wall at my home.
Noice! I wish I could see the exhibit and go to the induction ceremony. It would be beyond great to see Beastie Boys together again.
@Streetwise It would look better on MY wall.
Congrats to Beasties on their induction!
So that is THE necklace Mike wore? How do they verify something like that? I guess Mike probably had many VW necklaces.
@Hot Sauce It's nice to see you back! I thought you had given up.
@Fittonia Given up? No. There's simply nothing to write about the band now. The Rock Hall induction is changing things.
Regarding the Hard Rock memorabilia: the organization is a serious collector of rock memorabilia, purchasing items privately and through auction--all of which would be verified. Hard Rock owns more than 70,000 items of memorabilia, a lot of which is stored in a warehouse in Florida.
