They answered my question. It IS an escalator on the album cover.
Maybe it's because I am tired, but some of the humor in the interview seemed forced, more by the DJ than the band. I like the Beastie Boys organic.
I'm not sure I like B-Boys in the Cut. I don't know what I expected, but not what I heard in the radio program. It would have been nice to hear about the songs origins. I know I'm asking too much. It's more important to talk about where they buy coffee.
Zane Lowe is a wanker. He talks as if he discovered and made the Beastie Boys.
I have no idea what they were talking about for 95% of the interview.
Shit, BBoys in the Cut is a stinker. I ain't so sure about the Nas song either. I hope they got something better on the album. I'd hate to see their winning streak end.

Talking about BBoys in the Cut, there is an article in the NYT online version, entitled "When he was Barry". Zane Lowe is a poor interviewer...he's not interested in bands (apart from New Zealanders), never does his homework, etc.
B Boys in the Cut is not how I thought it would sound. No decision yet if it goes in the Keep pile. I'm going to ponder it for a while. Thanks for posting the download link.
I like some of the fan remixes with the a capella more than the band's final B-BOys in the Cut. It sounds messy...like 2 songs are playing at the same time. Are we sure this is the final cut?
What! No one is gushing about the song?!
I am sort of feeling the new song. It's good, not great. Hearing it live will be the true test.
