Beastie Boys have announced two quickie warm-up shows before they play the Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 12. Tickets for both shows go on sale tomorrow (June 4) at 4 pm ET:
There is a two ticket limit per show. All tickets are will call and not transferrable.

40 bucks a ticket? You can tell Beasties haven't played for a while. Most bands are charging half that for tickets because of the shitty economy.

these shows are not for fans,they're for the band. they won't be playing any new shit and that's what hte real fans care about
I agree that $40 seems high in this economy, but it is a club show. They could charge $200 a ticket and sell out.

If you're asking if a club show is better than a venue show, I would say that the setting doesn't matter with the Beastie Boys. For me, great Beastie Boys shows are created by the audience. The best shows I've attended were packed with Beastie heads. The audience at these two upcoming shows will surely be mostly locals -- some who will be big fans, some who are casual fans, and some idiots yelling "Play 'Fight for Your Right'" Which is not unlike most Beastie Boys shows.
I bet tickets will be a bitch to get. I don't even try for tickets any more because the whole system is so corrupt.

No luck. My bf is going to be mad. He put me in charge of getting the RH tickets. The ticketing site kept timing out on me.
It doesn't surprise me no one is getting through. Fixed! It's all fixed. Most of the tickets are probably in the hands of the venue staff.

I tried to buy Orange Peel tickets and had no luck. The first page would not load. I wish I knew the secret to getting tickets because I always get locked out.

Orange Peel's capacity is 900 standing. Rams Head's capacity is somewhere in the 1500-1700 range.
