So we will not hear Hot Sauce Committee Part 1?
Q: Does this surprise anyone? A: No
I'm happy they are redoing the songs. Let's be honest - none of the new songs we heard were mindblowing great. Maybe now they will be. Bring it on Beastie Boys!!
What happened to "Bunt Cake"? Was that just a skit?
I am excited Beastie Boys are working on music. For a while I wondered if they would be a band again...you know what I mean. It's very good to know there is no stopping them. :D
Beastie Boys are trying to mess with the space-time continuum.
Wait. What?
@Octopie I think you may have something there. Is it a coincidence Beastie Boys made this announcement the same day as the "Back to the Future" events began 25 years ago (10/25/85)?
'Bundt Cake' will be on HSCP3.
Do I have to go back in time to hear HSCP1?
@Plix5a Yes.
How many songs from Part 1 were released? I only heard Too Many Rappers.
@Teradactyl "Too Many Rappers" was an official single that was released. "B-Boys in the Cut" and "Lee Majors Come Again" were on a bonus 7 inch with the Check Your Head reissue. "Here's a Little Something for Ya (Remix)" and "Pop Your Balloon" were audio tracks on video games.
Now we can go back to waiting.
Well I am happy. I mean NEWS is better than no news and it is great to know he boys are healthy and back to getting into that MUSICAL groove. :) The possibilities are endless.
I am curious what prompted the announcement. Fans were not questioning the two albums content. Not that I don't appreciate the info...
What I'd like is a 2cd set with the original mixes (part 1) included
