Beastie Boys nominated for MTV Video Award
Beastie Boys have been nominated for an MTV Video Music Award in the unusual category of "Best Video (That Should Have Won a Moonman)" for their video of "Sabotage" (which should have won in 1994). U2, Radiohead, and Bjork, among others, are nominated in the same category.
The award will be given based on viewer votes. You can vote for the Beastie Boys HERE (registration required) [DEAD LINK]. Voting is open until September 13.

Congrats Beastie Boys!!!
Voted.
I voted too. If they win, will Hornblower accept the award?
Hell yeah! I voted. Hornblower better get his best lederhosen ready for the award show.
With all due respect to Herr Hornblower, but 'Sabotage' was directed by Spike Jonze.
Duh. Everybody knows Spike directed the video. We were referring to Hornblower's jumping the stage in protest to the video not winning in 94.
A lot of the videos in the category deserved to get an award but Sabotage is the most deserved. It's a classic.
@fittonia: okay, point taken.
I think many people would like to see Hornblower at the MTV Video Awards show again.
Think of the MTV children who might not have seen this video yet. Can you imagine going back in time and seeing/hearing it for the very first time? *KA-BLOOOOIE!!!!*
There goes my mind....
this has to be the worst idea for a music award ever...
i voted like 15 times.Lol
hopefully they submitt all 15.Oh well if they don't i still voted.
But the Beastie's will FERSURELY get the award!
