Possible Beastie Boys concert dates
Several concert dates for the Beastie Boys are now posted at Ticketmaster.com. Treat these dates as rumors until confirmed by an official source.

LOL...The band forgot to tell us.
If these shows are real, they are not counting on the strength of the new record to sell tickets. THe Red Rocks show goes on sale before the Nas collabo is released. Fans are supposed to buy tickets when we have no clue what the new record is about?
Selling concert tickets in advance of an album release is nothing new.
In the past we got videos and TV interviews before the album dropped so we would get excited about the album and the tour. We got nothing for this one.
Ok, I understand about needing something to entice you to buy.
It's true that they haven't done much to promote the new album and get fans excited about its release. For the most part, fans are in the dark about what to expect from the new album. We've heard three songs, but we know little about them. It would be nice if the band shared something about the songs with fans in their newsletter or web site first. I don't trust what mainstream media writes about the new album because when has mainstream media ever gotten the Beastie Boys right?
Whether the album is good or not, their shows are almost always excellent. I think fans can buy concert tickets to the upcoming tour with confidence.
I want to see them play Red Rocks!!

Yes, there were some other dates posted but I believe they were a mistake. The Miami show was originally posted as being on September 12 (now it's October 8). Another show in Vegas was listed as happening on September 25. The postings are premature. It would be unwise to plan anything until the dates are confirmed by an official source.
Let the madness begin!
