Earlier this week, the South by Southwest organization announced that the Beastie Boys will participate in a "very special interview" (READ: surprise concert) on March 15, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, in the Austin Convention Center as part of the activities associated with the screening of Awesome; I Fuckin' Shot That! at the SXSW Film Festival.
I'm working on getting more information about this event. I will post an update as soon as I learn the details.
